We had plans to do something more with this, but then everyone got busy. I figure that someone should benefit from the fruits of our labor. So, here it is, in all it’s questionable glory; The Unluckiest Rick: A RPG….sort of.
Anything that isn’t clear (spoiler alert: it’s most of it) is intended for you to make up as you go along; with the DM making judgement calls on what the stats and skillz can mean, and how they can or can’t be used. (Once, we landed on a planet of glass and I took off my shoes and slid on my socks to get somewhere faster.) I’m not even sure there was a stat or skill associated with that. /shrug
The only wrong way to play this game is if you find yourself stressing over the rules. This is just a blurry guideline to winning-at-make-believe. The answer is, don’t think about it.
If you truly want whatever the canon for this ends up being, come to Epic Nerd Camp. I’m sure we can get Josh to run some scenarios.
